Prazniak Reunion

This weekend the Prazniak clan and "the outlaws" traveled to Canton, Ohio from as far south as Atlanta, as far West as San Francisco and as far north as Boston to celebrate the 4th of July. Friday night, the FitzSimmons, Courts, David and I went out to Macaroni Grill. Did you know you can actually create your own pasta dish there? It was pretty delicious and the company was great, as usual. After dinner we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house to play with fire and party. Everyone was having fun playing with sparklers and lighting other explosives. Poor Katie got a nice little blister when something went awry with her firework but that was the only casualty of the weekend.

Saturday morning we met at the Hometown Buffet for brunch then headed back to the house for yard games, password, whiffle ball, poker and good company.  The whiffle ball game was serious. Katie's Cobra's vs. Nicholas's Nightmares.   Everyone played and Nicholas's Nightmares Won! That's right, that was my team! It was a close competition the entire game and then Nathan hit a single to drive me in and end the game in the bottom of the 9th. We drank Bill Beer and had great discussions about life, politics and the future.

It was a great time and I'm so glad I was able to go. In 3 years, the Prazniak's will have another reunion for G+G's 60th wedding anniversary in New York and I'm looking forward to it already.

Tuesday we are driving to Tennessee to stay with some of Missy's family then North Carolina for Adventure Amputee Camp on Wednesday.  Matt and I are so excited.  I can't wait to meet the kids and have a blast.  This summer has been so much fun so far and it is only getting better.  Hope everyone else if having good times!
