Mr. Noodles and Rice

Monday, I got off of work and attempted to complete the arduous task of bathing suit shopping. Anyone who knows me knows that I don't shop, I buy. So when I spent 2 1/2 hours shopping for one article of clothing, needless to say I was slightly frustrated.  However, I did find one suit, actually two suits at Kohl's where I normally do not shop.  Actually, I went to 6 stores before going to Kohl's and I should have just gone there first.  Anyway, Matt and Jeff's friend Spencer and his wife Erica are in town on their way to move down south to Tampa.   We met them at Mr. Noodles and Rice and it was exactly what I needed to get out of my funk.  We haven't seen Jeff and Michele in a while and they will be gone most of July so it was nice to get to spend some time with them.

Last week, there was an article in the Winchester Star about the restaurant so I was curious to check it out.   Moving on to dinner.  The food was delicious. I give it an 8/10.  The service was good but the food took quite a while which was fine because Spence kept us entertained, as usual.  We were actually wondering if the Chef was out back in the pond catching the fish, hardy har har.  I think he felt bad for making us wait because he made us this delicious white tuna AND posed for a picture.  Funny thing is, the article said he was from New Orleans but he told us that he was only in New Orleans for 8 months. Before that he was in LA for 1.5 years and he is actually from Columbia, MD, originally.    Just goes to show how unreliable the Winchester Star is.  It is 11pm and I have yet to pack a thing for our trip tomorrow and I don't think that I will be getting off the couch anytime soon because I am mucho comfortable.  I'm sticking by my motto...it'll get done.

I'm apparently the only one against gang signs
