Love Thursdays!

This week I am house sitting for the Dansie's while they are in Ocracoke. I love pretending like it is my house so we celebrated our Thursday this week grilling out and sitting on the Dansie porch. Matt made yummy chicken and beef Kabobs and Mel brought Seven Deadly Zins and a delicious mascarpone tart with raspberries.

Beautiful night, beautiful people

Micah and Julie arrived Friday evening and we enjoyed a nice dinner on the patio at Brewbaker's.  Tomorrow is Dave Matthews Band at Nissan Pavilion. This is my third year going to the show at Nissan and my 14 or 15th Dave show. I've been going to his shows since I was 15 and I've had a great time at every one of them.  

On Sunday, we have softball and then I'm going to another concert with Mel. We are going to see Keller Williams and Yonder Mountain. I'm really excited for this show because I used to listen to Keller back in my hippy days.  In 1999, he did a free show at JMU before anyone knew who he was and it was great to sit 10 feet away.  I'm sure Sunday will be a little different.
