Good Tunes, Good Times

Saturday was the Dave show at Nissan Pavilion. We got to the parking lot early so we could tailgate. The drive was pretty uneventful, amazingly enough, we didn't even have to stop for me to pee.  After we got there, some sweet talking and good driving found us a great spot on a grassy knoll.  People kept saying it was reserved for employees but I didn't see any signs and no one said anything to us.  It was pretty hot that day so it was money to be off of the gravel and have access to some shade.  Micah and Julie brought some Bill Beer which was delicious and potent, per usual. I was starving when we got there and White Hots and Cheese Dogs hit the spot.  It was my first Cheese Dog experience and I was quite pleased.

"It hurts so good!"

Plenty of room for washers on the knoll

shade. good.

3 Courts and 1 Sauer

You can watch Dave while you are waiting in line for 20 minutes for $14 margaritas and $4 bottles of frozen H20.

Great music!

Tim Reynolds played the entire show with Dave.  They played a couple covers including Peter Gabriel's, "Sledgehammer" and Sly and the Family Stone's, "Thank You (Falettineme be Mice Elf Agin).  Really, that's the title. Dave broke it down on stage and it was pretty entertaining. It was a great time and Dave once again did not disappoint.

Sunday we played softball.  13-1 loss.  We suck.  Enough said.  I strained my groin by sprinting around the bases when I wasn't properly stretched so I will be taking a couple days off this week.

Sunday night was Keller Williams and Yonder Mountain String Band.  Boy, was that a great time!  There is just something about surrounding yourself with great music and chill people. I loved being in a field when the weather is beautiful with a good friend and a descent glass of wine.  I forget sometimes how much I love to dance. Mel and I got our exercise breaking it down for sure.  There was a nice breeze and an awesome sunset.  It was a nice change from the night before, most of the proceeds benefit charity and the prices were significantly more reasonable.

Friends!

Dance like no one is watching!

Progression of the awesome sunset

This weekend was awesome and I am very excited for next weekend.  We are traveling to Ohio for a Prazniak family reunion.  Matt's grandparents are freaking adorable and I can't wait to see them again.  When we get back from Ohio I work for a day then we leave for Adventure Amputee Camp. Woohoo!

Hope everyone has a great week!
