Sarah and I completed the First Annual Boulder Spring Half Marathon on a beautiful, yet chilly Sunday morning. The race took place on Boulder back roads. There were beautiful views and we got through the race even though we didn't train as hard as we probably should have. My knees hurt pretty badly by the end but my stomach didn't bother me too much which is a first. It was Sarah's first half and she did awesome, she kept me motivated and was a great training partner.
Getting mentally prepared before the race
Where's Waldo?
Down the home stretch, knees are killing!
Almost there!
Finished!
Success tastes good!
First time I've ever felt well enough to actually drink the free beer, I had to take advantage.
Congrats, Sarah on your first half. Thanks for being my training buddy, hope we can train again for the muddy buddy and the Denver Rock 'n' Roll half, or should we do the marathon? nah!

Congrats on the 1/2. It looked cold! It's always a great feeling to finish a race. Have a great week.
I vote you do the muddy buddy. I've been wanting to do that for years.
