Late 4th Post

Matt and I had a great all-day date on the 4th of July this year. We began the day supporting Kenny-boy in the Liberty 5k. Great job Kenny!

Finish strong!

After the race we headed to the store to get stuff for a picnic. We found the coolest 4th of July cake.

The bakery lady was not amused....

After we packed up our picnic we drove to Great Falls Park and after our delicious, romantic picnic we went for a hike. It was a little crowded but the only person I could see was Matt. :-)

After our hike, we headed back to Winchester. We decided to stop and do some wine tasting on the way home. Matt and I had a great time sitting outside sharing a bottle in the beautiful Virginia countryside.

On the way home we blasted tunes and jammed out. What a great time!

We went to Sherando Park for the Crowded Streets show and then enjoyed the semi-lame fireworks.

It was such a great day. Matt and I have been so busy it was really nice to be able to give him my undivided attention.
