What a sad day...
I grew up listening to Michael Jackson. When I was really young I had a big crush, I know it's kind of weird now but I did. He was such an incredible dancer, singer and all-around performer. His music was so influential in terms of breaking color barriers and he was also an active humanitarian; he was the leader of "We are the World" which I'm sure you all remember.
I am not going to discuss his indiscretions because now they are irrelevant. I would just like to focus on the positive and how he was an amazing pop genius.
The world has benefitted immensely from his talent and he will never be forgotten.
