Parent's Weekend

Matt's and my parents came to visit for Easter Weekend. I have to admit there was a little anxiety involved regarding the the parents meeting but everything was great.

Jill and Bill came on Thursday evening and we enjoyed pizza and yummy Bill Beer, not to mention great convo. I had to work on Friday so they went into DC and saw the sights. Mom and Dad got here Friday evening and Matt made a great pasta and we ate and talked until late.

Both Moms brought great Easter baskets. Jill brought her granddog the best gift though :)

My Easter pup

Saturday was full of wine tasting and driving with beautiful weather. Not to mention Tooters, thanks Mom!

On our way!

I'm a wine club member at Rappahannock so I can taste in their private room...ohhh...

Oasis. Beautiful but the wine was no good.

Chester Gap Cellars.
Really beautiful and really good.

Matt found a pogo stick...why not?

Next we went to Veramar. It was the end of the day and there was a birthday party and a bachelorette party going on simultaneously. As you could probably imagine, people were a little out of control and the environment was not exactly what we were looking for. Plus, there was 40+ people trying to share 1 bathroom and that was just no good for me.

After the last winery, we wanted to show Jill and Bill Bear's Den. It was gorgeous as usual.

After Bear's Den we headed home to meet Mom and Dad. Wine wasn't their thing so they went to Winchester museums. After we met up, we went to IJ Canns which was delicious as usual.

Attention, Madonna is in the building!

The weekend was full of good wine, good conversation and great family. Love you all!
