The Bride and I after the church rehearsal
Lauren and Jared..adorable!
My babe and me
Nikki and Lauren
Saturday was a crazy day to say the least. Matt and I woke up early and ran the longest distance either of us has ever run, 14 miles. The weather could not have been better. It was in the low 70's which felt so wonderful. My body is adjusting to the distance and I'm able to run farther before things start to hurt. I got home and iced my knees down and they felt better until I danced on them for 4 hours later in the evening. Back to the wedding stuff. Jason and Jeff came over in the late morning to get ready for the 2 o'clock ceremony. They all looked smokin' hot in their tuxes. I was supposed to pick up Jared from the hotel at 1:40 to go to the church but I got a call from him around 1:00 telling me that I needed to Nikki's house where she is getting ready and go pick up the programs because they are already supposed to be at the church. I rushed over to Nikki's which is right around the corner and Katie (Nikki's sister) is still proof-reading the program and picking out images to put on them. I was freaking out a little bit that it wasn't finished but no one else seemed to be stressed that it was 1:30 and the programs are not printed out yet and Nikki is still putting on make-up. I think this is one of the reasons I like Nikki so much. I could learn from her about not being so stressed in situations and just going with the flow. I told them that I was going to pick up Jared while they finished the programs. On our way back over to Nikki's we got a call from Lauren telling us to just go straight to the church because the programs were not printing out. I don't think anyone missed the programs. Now to the important stuff. Nikki looked so gorgeous! Her dress was made for her figure and her hair and make-up looked perfect.

Her make-up is always perfect!
Dang he looks good in his tux
Sean while he was still sober and not telling me that he loves me every 2 seconds
The ceremony was held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ Catholic Church. It has been 10 years since I have been to a Catholic Mass. The Priest's Homely was good, he spoke of fidelity and the importance of marriage. We stood, we sat, we knelt and after an hour, Nikki and Jason were married! The wedding party took photos inside for a few minutes while the rest of us stood outside. I managed to snap a group photo inside before they were finished. I also snapped some photos outside while the professional photographer was shooting as well.
CUTE!!!

"Love each other, eyes open!"
One good lookin' group!
Love it!
Married!
So beautiful!
Don't run away Nikki, you just got hitched!
After we left the Church, Joanne, Jared and I drove back to Nikki's to grab the bubbles and headed to Bowling Green Country Club in Front Royal. The place was really nice. The only thing that was missing was the DJ. Miraculously, there was a DJ available that made it to the party in 30 minutes, tux and all. He did a great impromptu job. I had a really great time dancing with everyone. I forget how much I love to shake it until I'm on the dance floor. We found out from Jason Sunday night that the initial DJ thought the wedding was Sunday. Oops.
Lottery tickets for a wedding favor, who would have thunk it!
Cara breaking it down!
There was a really pretty sunset
Towards the end of the night, you can tell because Sean's eyes close 1 mm for every scotch.
I had such a great time at the reception. I wanted to hang out late with everyone but I had to wake up early for work on Sunday.
Jason and Nikki left at 3am Monday morning for their Honeymoon in Barbados. I hope they have a great time.
Thank you guys so much for having us at your wedding, it was a great time. I wish you two all the best in this adventure.
