Saturday is Matt and my 2 year anniversary. I can not fully describe how wonderful these past 2 years have been. I have learned an incredible amount about myself, life, and relationships and Matt has truly inspired me to be a better person. We have been through some challenging times: the end of PT school with comps, Florida, his graduate degree on top of a full-time job, PT Boards, running and I'm sure this next year (or 4) will be difficult as well. These trying times have proven to strengthen our relationship and bring us close together. When I'm with him, I feel like I'm hanging out with my other half and he's my BFF. Don't get me wrong, I am my own person with my own thoughts, feelings and desires but I just feel so comfortable around him because he understands me and loves me regardless of my idiosyncrasies. I could not imagine my life without him, we have so much fun. I don't want to change a thing about him, well, maybe I wouldn't mind if he put his shoes away and didn't leave them in the middle of the floor. Regardless, I love him for EXACTLY who he is. He respects me and my feelings and he makes me feel special all the time.
