I highly recommend this restaurant. It is reasonably priced considering the quality of food and service you are receiving and it's just plain tasty! So check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Apartment 2g
As you may have read in my apartment blog, Matt and I were unable to really celebrate our anniversary in a romantic sense because we were moving. Well, Matt planned a really nice surprise dinner for the following Friday. He wouldn't tell me where we were going until the evening of and even if he had, it wouldn't have mattered because I had never heard of it. Apartment 2g is in Front Royal, Va and is located above a gourmet shop. The chefs are husband wife and have TV's set up throughout the restaurant so you can watch them prepare the food. It is very quant and romantic. This place was all about the details, for instance when Matt called for a reservation, they asked if it was a special occasion and when we got there they had printed the menus with Happy Anniversary at the top. The food was incredible. It is by far, the best meal I've had since I became a veggie. The first course was a tomato and cucumber summery salsa, the second was tomato and corn risotto, third was salad with almonds and puff pastry and an amazing dressing (I don't remember what it was) and for my entree I just asked him to whip me up whatever he wanted because I'm not particular (except for the no meat product thing). I was watching him on the TV and hoping what he was making was mine and it was! There was roasted eggplant, green and red peppers, tomatoes, and a delicious pimento cheese with this really yummy red sauce that was kind of spicy. Matt got a filet that was cooked perfectly which he really enjoyed. For dessert, I chose an apricot and pasty creme thing with a fancy name that I can't remember.
