206 Stratford Dr.

Goodbye 1980 Taylor Dr. and 105 Banbury Terrace, hello 206 Stratford Dr!

Saturday was Matt and my anniversary and it was consumed with moving the immense amounts of our possessions. I liked the way Matt looked at it he said, "I know this isn't going to be the most romantic anniversary on record, but I certainly can't imagine a more perfect and fitting way to celebrate." I love the way he thinks. Matt surprised me with 2 tickets to go see Coldplay in Philly in November and I couldn't be more excited. I may even decide to take him. We will already be in Philly for Halloween with Nick and Paul so it's perfect! We were supposed to see Coldplay in July in Ohio when we were there for the family reunion but the show was cancelled. Julie and Micah recently saw them and said it was amazing. I am completely addicted to their new album so I can't wait!

Okay back to moving. Sean came over early and helped us load the truck at Matt's apt. Two very nice morman missionaries who were going door to door helped us as well and Sean turned the tables and tried to convert them to Obama.

While they were unloading that truckload at the new place, I hurriedly attempted to finish packing my room at my old place. Jeff was a life-saver and came to help as well. Matt and Sean were easily distracted but Jeff was very helpful in keeping them and me on task.  We finally stopped for dinner around 10ish and we were beyond tired.

Matt woke up early on Sunday and ran 16 miles. I tried but my ankle has been bothering me and the injury was exacerbated by repeatedly ascending and descending stairs all day on Saturday. I have been taking Advil and resting my ankle so I plan on running Tuesday morning.

Don't hate because I'm prepared.

So check out the new place....

Gotta have the end-unit

Finally, a walk-in. With natural lighting!

Yes it is green and there are apples. Good thing all my appliances are red.

Matt driving the enormous truck. The guy at Budget told us that 30% of trucks have some sort of damage when returned. We luckily did not have any casualties.

Adorable

It was a very busy weekend but worth it. I have Tuesday off of work so I am going to finish Matt's apt and clean and get things more organized at 206. I would love for people to come over once we get things a little more situated. Maybe we can have a sing star night. We are way overdue for one of those.

Thank you Jeff and Sean for your help on Saturday and Mel for your help on Sunday. It takes a true friend to dedicate your time and muscles and we really appreciate it.
