Nikki's Fam
After dinner we headed to the wine bar and had a good time before we went upstairs to the club and danced like crazy.
Before we started dancing
It's getting hot in here!
There was a bike festival that weekend and on the way to take Cara home, we had some fun with the bikes. Good thing we didn't get caught. Sorry mom. :-)
Hello!
Cara and Jenn on the grassy knoll
By the time we walked Cara home and got back to hotel it was 5am and we were beat. Needless to say, I was hurting the next day. We slept in then went and had a nice lunch at this Mediterranean restaurant. At lunch, Lauren and Stephanie got into town and met us. After that, we walked around downtown but all the stores were closed. We went back to the hotel and Nikki put her vail on and got all beautified for our nice dinner at Oliverio's and our night out on the town. The food was amazing at dinner. I got a seafood pasta dish with scallops, clams and shrimp and it was SO good. During dinner we gave Nikki a scrapbook that Lauren made with pictures of all the girls. She loved it. Lauren did such a great job with it. It was such a thoughtful gift and a great idea. Thanks for putting it together Lauren!
Her tank says, "sexy little bride." :-)
Cara and Nikki
I think she liked it!
I wish Lauren and Cara lived closer
Oliverio's restaurant is located on the water in the Wharf district and they shot off fireworks directly across the water from the restaurant. These were the best fireworks I have ever seen. There were literally 5 finales and I was amazed every time they continued to shoot them off. These fireworks were the real deal and we were right underneath them.
After dinner, we headed back to the hotel for a few then out to this bar called "Rain." They had $5 all you can drink so we were hooked. The house bought us a bottle of champagne to celebrate Nikki and I thought that was pretty cool. We met some cool people while we were there and Cara and Jamie were even in a booty shaking contest. Jamie won $100!
mmm...bubbles.
A little booty shaking!
Jamie, bringing home the bacon!
The ladies
I went to bed relatively early Saturday night because I was still hurting from Friday night. Everyone else ordered pizza and it was hilarious when the delivery guy showed up.
HA!!! What a coinkidink!
Sunday consisted of breakfast and the drive home. We dropped Joanne off in Romney and stopped at the Brass Rail and played some slots. I don't know if slots are for me. I'm not a very lucky person, I like to have some control over where my money is going atleast so I know it's my fault if I lose it. But it was fun nevertheless and it was nice to spend a little time with Nikki's dad.
The weekend was fun. It was great to be in a college town again and let loose. It was also fun to hang with some cool chicks. I really wish those girls lived closer because they are so much damn fun.
Congratulations Nikki. I can't wait for your wedding. It is going to be awesome!
