Marathon Training

Matt and I have decided to run the Marine Corps Marathon in DC.  The race is October 26th so we will be running our butts off (literally) for the next 25 weeks.  That's right, 6 long months of pounding the pavement looking to check a marathon off the list.  I am lucky to have Matt as my training partner because he is extremely dedicated to everything he does so he won't let me slack off.  The purpose of this blog is to document the next six months in many different ways.  I may just feel like writing how a particular run felt or challenges that come along during the course of training.  I may even throw in weekend fun because I know how much I enjoy reading some friends' blogs and we have an extremely busy summer ahead of us so there will plenty to write about.  So check back if you want to read about my blisters, tendonitis, muscle strains, etc;  I promise to attempt to make it interesting!
